Planetary Myths

Allison will share myths that explain the general nature of and the relationships between the grahas. The grahas serve as omens foir the unfolding of karma, and when assessing a birth chart it is helpful to anthropomorphize the planets so that we can turn the chart we are reading into a story:

• Rahu/ Ketu and the churning of the ocean of milk
• Why Saturn and Sun are enemies
• Why Mercury is inimical towards the Moon and Jupiter is inimical to Mercury
